What week is good to switch the light to hps for low riders? Is it better to wait until a certain height or when they show sex?
Low Ryder is not auto flowering, so wont show sex until you flower it.. If this is a from seed grow, really you can flower anytime... I always suggest flower when it is 30 days old, or reaches maturity.. You know it has reached maturity when the leaves start to stager... Meaning, grows a leaf on one side, short stem interlude and leaf on the other side.. As opposed to directly across from each other...
The seeds I have are auto lemon skunk and auto white Moscow from low life seeds. They are auto which is why I asked... Being they are auto what do you say then?
Ohhhhhh, my bad, I thought you was talking about the Low Ryder strain... Most autos start flowering within 4-5 weeks...
No problem dude, I've grown um in dirt before but only with a T5 and I didn't know if I should switch from MH to HPS sooner than 4 weeks... I figure the longer they are under the MH the tall they may get, keeping into mind that I want to have a tight node spacing but so far they are real close
