supplies w/out internet?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Dankamanjaro, Jan 25, 2009.

  1. hi, i've been tokin for about a year now, and am a pretty regular smoker. I'm thinking about trying to grow, and was wondering if all the needed supplies for a good quality grow can be bought unsuspiciously around town, instead of ordering online. (besides the seeds, ofcourse)

Any help will be greatly appriciated

  2. Walmart and home depot are your friends.

Check the growing section next time.

  3. find a local hydroponics store. they will have everything you need.

walmart and home depot are ok places to start, but they mostly just supply miracle grow products which are not recommended for cannabis grows. they also don't supply the HPS or MH light setups if you decide to use them over CFL's. they of course don't have many of the other things you might need, like pH meters, pH adjusting solutions, mylar, carbon scrubbers, etc. so in other words, home depot is pretty much only good for CFL's and large pots. for everything else it's either online or find a local-ish hydroponics store.

good luck. and don't forget to do your research before you try to grow. it's not rocket science, but it isn't as simple as just watering a plant every now and then. :)
