Well it has begun, the first week of vegetative stage. half my m39 clones were looking good, but the other half was lookin like shit, the ones in 4" containers were planted about 4 days before the ones in the 10" buckets, the ones in 10" buckets were in really poor shape and were planted just to get things going because i got no time to wait for them to catch up, so either they grow or dont, less plants means i will have to veg longer and make my plants bigger.

my SSH has had a little growth splurt, theyre looking good, the iced grapefuit is looking nice and compact as well, out of all the bob marleys i had only 2 were female, the rest were male and have been discarded.

this was technically the first week of veg and they were given the first dose of AN ferts, they were given 650 ppm @ 6.5 ph, im gonna go with my own ppm range(dont like to go over 800-1000max), i tried to mix exactly what AN had recomended for a 200 litre resevoir but that gave me a ppm of 1700, so i had to dilute there solution.

well after the first watering with ferts at 650ppm and ph at 6.6 i have noticed that all the clones are looking real good, but ALL the SSH are looking a bit fukked up, they got slight burning between the leaf margins, my guess is that they are more sensetive than the other plants i got and i think i may have mixed a bit too much dolomitic limestone in the soil raising the ph too high, but this is just an assumption so i will water with pure RO water at 6.2 and see if there is a difference in the next week.

yeah thats my guess, fukkin ssh, they seem to do better with a dry soil and no nutes, but i was just looking and found a pic that looks like the same type of burn and it said light bleaching/ light burn , so i dont know, maybe i should remove a light or 2 , i posted this problem in the sick plants section to try and get an answer as soon as possible

flooded my plants with a good dose of water, water going in was at 150ppm@6.5ph and the collected runoff water was tested at 1950ppm@6.6ph , so a good lesson was learned; dont use compost in the soil mix if you plan to use a FULLY COMPLETE fertilizer, in the past i used the compost mixing to add to what my fertilizer that had only NPK and lacked all the micro and macro, but with AN its soo complete that with the addition of compost in the mix it was immediatly burnt, so i flooded them with alot of water tioll the runoff was less than 450ppm, in the future i will use only promix and add no compost,


all my plants have recovered, whats burnt will not come back, just gotta look forward to the new growth, all the purple skunk, ata tundra, and iced grapefruit have been transplanted to 10" containers.

i got it under controll anyways, just a good flush and checked the runoff, runoff gave me the answer, with a runoff of 2000ppm pretty much told me i had to flush, now i start back at 0 in the feeding schedule, im pretty sure it was the combo of a good month and a half of just plain tapwater(no ph check) building up the nute levels because the plant was unable to absorb the nutes and then when i put my dose of chem ferts(readily availible) it immediatly burnt the plant and it had an immediate lockout, thats why the flush worked good and thats also why my plants showed diff symptoms than just one

 

well i gave one of my ssh some potassium silicate and some mother earth grow @ 750 ppm thinking they might have some potassium def and mag def, and it seems to be doing alot better, heres a few pics of my whole garden at the middle of week 2 veg(except the bigger ones theyre 2 months old from seed germ)
