Super early finish?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by DyersEve726, Feb 17, 2023.

  1. Weirdest thing. I got a strain that supposedly should take nine weeks minimum to finish. I'm not quite through with week six and I swear she's about done. Never had this happen before. Had some deficiencies along the way, so I'm thinking maybe it triggered an early finish. I took a couple years off growing, so it's been a while since I've had to make this determination. Could I borrow yall eyes? Sometimes it's hard for me to see what's clear and what's cloudy, lol. I'm thinkin of harvesting next weekend which would be exactly 7 weeks.

  2. dont get ahead of yourself and regret harvesting early only if the trichomes are 50% amber then i would otherwise let them bulk up great job by the way

  3. Thank you! It was a struggle/learning experience switching to organic and keeping her fed, but I just kept piling it on and she made it. Too big of a plant for that pot, lol. Not sure how much bulking up is left. She's seemed a week+ ahead of schedule all through flower. Friend came over and thought I was a month in and I was at 12 days! I'll be keeping an eye on the trichs through the week.

  4. Let her chunk out for another week or two, she looks close but needs to ripen a bit more:thumbsup:

  6. Most breeders say ow 8 weeks and it takes 10 or more . That breeder is spot on. Another week or 2 its totally done .

  8. One week later. She's real close. Tops are ready to go, but waiting on a few lowers to darken up a bit. The smell really came on hard over the last week and outside branches are starting to bail out from weight. Thinkin of a mid week harvest at 7.5 weeks. Definitely not gonna go 9 weeks!
