Hey.. I will be shortly working on some Soapstone, to make a pipe. I have worked with it a few times and really love its color and qualities. Also, it helps that it has a high heat tolerance, so that's not a problem. I just wanted to ask those who have or do work with stone, or know a lot about stone, where would be a good place to purchase soapstone or another type of stone to make pipes out of. I use to get it from my school, but that was years ago, and I'm not 100% sure on the safety of putting my mouth on the piece, after I've seen all the dust that it can make so easily. Thanks. P.S.: Ill throw up some pictures on here in the future with some of my work. Also, there's risk of asbestos within the lines and cracks of the stone, anyway to get asbestos free stone?
