I know this is an old thread, but I literally just did the same thing lol. How did your plant end up? Did she recover and mend herself?
This has happened to me several times just from weight of the buds pulling the branches in opposite direction. As long as it was caught in time, both should live just fine. I use twist ties to hold the 2 sides together until it heals, or I harvest, whichever happens first.
