Stem bending on seedling

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by MasterOG, Jun 10, 2011.

  1. One of my seedlings is kinda bending over a little bit, the stem is green and looks healthy and so are the cotyledons and first pair of leaflets. I dont know if its an issue or not? The plants seems to be doing fine judging by the leafs and stem, its just that its bending over for some reason. Should i be worried?

Right now its in a solo cup and is about 4-5 days old. Soil mix consists of 50% peat moss, 30% perlite and 20% worm castings. It got about 2 hours of sunlight the last two days, and got 4 hours today. I actually watered it for the first time just today, but i have been spritzing it and the soil on top since it germinated. I hope that information helps.

    Thanks!

P.S. Couldnt get pics cause i dont really have a camera :/

  3. Mines doing this too. It seems to be straightening out with time. I'm not to concerned about it. How old is your plant?
Edit: nvm 4-5 days. Mines 9 and it's looking better. Give it time.
