Just a quick question, I've been doing some research but would like to know in others people's past/experiences what the startup cost of a cheap but efficient 400W Hydro setup. I just want to do about a 3 ft setup. Thank you GC
Ok go to amazon and signup for free trial membership of prime if your not alraedy a member. Then grab your [ame="http://www.amazon.com/LED-Wholesalers-GYO1009-Reflective-Hydroponic/dp/B002V9HZBA/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1305142799&sr=1-2"]tent[/ame] here for $82 shipped. Next grab your light [ame="http://www.amazon.com/LED-Wholesalers-GYO2009-3-Piece-Hydroponic/dp/B004HNPGKA/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1305142938&sr=1-2"]here[/ame] for $145 shipped. Now grab yourself some nutes [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Recipe-Success-Starter-Fertilizer-Kit/dp/B0001XGP32/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1305142987&sr=1-1"]here [/ame]for $39.95 shipped while your at it. Next you'll need a vent fan and carbon scrubber you can get that here for $120 plus shipping. As far as the rest you'll need a thermometer/ hygrometer, a fan,PH kit, etc.. I'd pickup some better light hangers from HTG and you'll need to decide how your going to grow. Hydro,Soil, Soil less? So with that stuff and your odds and end you can have a nice self contained grow environment for Around $500. Here is a good thread for an even cheaper setup. Hope this helps a little. ~spacejerk234
I am sure there's a way. however if you can afford it you may want to just go with this tent. Secret Jardin Dark Twin DR90T - Greners.com twice the price, but wish I'd have found it before I pulled the trigger on my tent. ~spacejerk234
hmm i think it would be best to just buy 2 smaller 2x2 or 3x3's then get that one but nonetheless great find! you have been a great help
