Hey this is my first time growing. I would like to know how long i should keep my CFL on for. 24 hours? 12 hours? Thanks
it all depend on the space u have... but once the plant hit 12 inches, u can switch to 12/12 cycle....... i keep my lights on 24/7 when i do a inside veg..... but others like 18/6.. just go with what u like best, and if u can afford a timer, go with 24/7......
I have a plant with a 20 watt, 1200 lum CFL and it is about 2-3" away from the plant. What lighting scedudle should I use? 24/0 or 18/6? The plant is about an INCH tall and 4 days old...
As Shade said, both are good I asked the same question when I started and ultimately the deciding factor was that I couldn't get hold of a timer very quickly.. So I just stuck out 24/7 until the flowering stage. It seemed to work pretty well and I've got 6 nice females about 1-2 weeks away from harvest.. *drool* Did have 12 plants to start with though..damn males ;(
i want a small bushy plant with high yeild, so should i go 24/0 or 18/6? For the last 4 days its been 24/0...
