Spotty yellow leaves?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by BigJohnnyZSC, Sep 5, 2008.

  1. I recently started having problems with my plants, the outside parts of the leaves are getting yellow spots. This happened right after I had given my plants some nutrients. Is this from too much noots or is it something else. Also, I was wondering when I could tell when they are done. The plants have a lot of crystals and some of the hairs are changing colors, but for the most part are still white. Thanks for any responses...

  2. Pics always help but yellow spots typically indicate a Nitrogen Deficiency... the fact that it showed up after you fed is either a strange coincidence, poor quality/inadequate nutes, heat stress, too much drainage in potting mix, or bugs/insects eating foliage.

How can you tell when they are done... buy a 30X pocket microscope cut a little leaf blade off with trichs on it and have a look. If the trichs are 50% cloudy; they are ready to go...

    Peace
