  1. a spider has nested on my plant, good or bad? Figured he'd eat any flys

  2. Spiders never hurt your plant, they'll eat shit off it, check out my latest thread

  3. Only negative thing I've found about spiders is when the spin their web on your plant, sometimes they close leaves up with their silk.
So not a super negative thing, but something you don't want happening alot.

Good point, could even produce the right conditions for mould

  5. Very true.

I actually found a few spiders on my plants so far this year. And I let them go, came back and checked on the plants a few days later. And they had used a whole leaf, used there silk to hold it together, and wrapped it up over top of each other so that the leaf looked like a hot dog bun (if you can picture that) and well it totally killed the leaf...so just be careful and always inspect your plants !
