Space opera/adventure

    Can anybody suggest me a good book. Anything about space opera/space marines like halo series. I can't find any good books like halo.

    The be all end all of Space Marine stories is Robert A Heinlein's Starship Troopers

    You also can't go wrong with Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game (and a few of the follow up books to it)... this one might be more up your alley
