Something else then lighters?

    So I'm wondering what I can use besides a lighter? People say your bud taste better without the butane or whatever. (I'm still a newbie smoker so I'd love help)

    What else can I use? Besides those hemp wicks or whatever they are.
    Can I buy something at my headshop?
    I attempted yesterday to heat up just some pliers under a candle but never got hot enough? (Probably a dumb idea but still)

    What else can I use?:confused:

    matches, let the match head burn off before you use it
    if its sunny, a magnifying glass is the way to go

    use a match light a candle and then use the unburned ends of
    incense sticks to dip into the flame and then hold over your bucket/peice, etc.

    Blowtorch, camp fire, stove-top, winning.

    If you make love to your bongs like I do it's possible to ignite a fire using what I like to call "fuck-friction". Have at 'er.
