Is thier any other way to find out if a plant is likely to be male or female? A looong time ago a grower told me, usually the slow growers tend to be female. That doesnt make sense, but if it did, would that mean males tend to grow faster ? and females slower ? 2nd Question. I have a soil bag like this one posted I have 2 plants currently, growing out of their solo cups. Can i invert the bag sort of like how you would a chip bag like this>> Instead of onions and cheese that would be soil. Could i put both plants in their ?
cut the bag in half, & put one plant in each half. punch drain holes in the bottom of em. plants will show sex around week 6 of veg ( look on the 4th-6th internodes for signs of pre-sex)/. yes males tend to be lanky , but it is not a for sure way to tell sex by any means. sign of pre-sex combined with growth characteristics can give you the best indicators of sex during veg. the best way is still flowering em out to be 100% sure.
