Could somebody help me clear this up. I'm leaning towards soil as most have told me it is much easier for beginners. I also spoke with a guy at a hydro shop and he proceeded to tell me how much cheaper soil is, and how with hydro you can't control which nutes go to which plants (and I want to grow 2 strains, so this would be bad). I think he said he used something called coco, which he said was kind of a hybrid between soil and hydro. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each medium? Haven't really heard any benefits to hydro yet, but there must be.
