Hey guys just wondering what these rock/ balls are that I always see on top of people’s soil? And what are their purpose?
As stated above thise are hydroton pebbles for hydro style growing... I'm sure they could be used as mulch if you really had no other option but it's better to go with organic matter for mulch.. (barley straw, coco shell (chocolate), fan leaves, stems and chopped up roots / plant scraps in my opinion is the best for self sustainable reasons..)
