Soil Recipe Problem, Help Needed

  1. What up GrassCity! Wasn't impressed with last seasons bagseed into the ground outdoor grow so this season I want to do some research and do it right. I have decided upon the BC growers guide recipe of:

~1 Bale Sunshine mix #2 or Promix
~8 Cups Bone Meal (for phosphorus)
~4 Cups Blood Meal (for nitrogen)
    ~1 1/3 Cups Epsom Salts
~3-4 Cups Dolomite Lime (for calcium/pH buffer)
    ~1 Tsp. fritted trace elements
    ~4 Cups Kelp Meal
    ~25lb Bag Pure Worm Castings
*mix together and moisten. Let sit for 1-2 weeks then plant.

Here is where the problems begin. I have a number of problems with this recipe and would like an expert growers oppenion on how to handle them. The problems are as follows:

    - I cannot locate either Sunshine #2 or Promix in my area. Would using just any old potting soil mess up the soil mixture? Can anyone suggest other brands of soil which I could use.
    - What the hell are "Fritted trace elments"? I have no idea what they are and neither does any of the stores I've called. What are they and how important are they in my grow?
    - I am haveing difficulty finding pure worm castings. Any alternitives to pure worm castings that I could explore?

    Thanks for any advice!:bongin:
