Soil in Small Pots

    We've got Veg and Flowering nutes, but the fox's farm soil hasn't arrived yet as its being shipped from america to the uk.

    Would it do any harm to use ordinary bagged flowerbed soil. I would sterilize it first. It would be re-potted after ~5 days, using fox's farm. Would it be detrimental to the plant's health?

    Bagged flowerbed soil should be ok without sterilizing it, as long as it has little or not nutrients in it (definately no time released nutients) then it'll be fine. Add some perlite and worm casting and you'll be off to a good start.

    You´re shipping DIRT across the Atlantic ??? Jeez, I sure hope it´s worth it.

    Now that is determination. :p Did anyone see a homemade soil mix recipe around here anywhere? :smoking:

    Absolutely, I can´t buy Foxfarm, or anything much with any nutrition, so I mix my own. So far 145 gallons this year, and I bet it is every bit as good.
