Am growing in pots, outside. Do not have access to Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I do have access to a local soil mix and there are two I'm looking at. Would welcome all comments and suggestions. I have read "do not go cheap" with your soil, so here is what I have. Most Expensive consists of: Topsoil Glacier Gold Compost Peat Sand Perlite/Vermiculite Second choice consists of: 45% Top Soil 45% Glacier Gold Compost 10% Sand That is what I have available, what do ya think ? The more expensive one is the way to go. That is the base of any good, organic potting soil. Add some bat guano and kelp and youve got ocean forest.
