Has anyone ever tried to put bannnana peels in their soil? Does this work or does it need to be composted first? Does anyone know what food/organic material you could add to your soil that wouldn't need to be composted? Also what organic fertalizers are available at lowes or home depot
Depot cares Organic MG bone/blood meal... its a non cow based meal. They also have Espoma meals and organic ferts.
Bananna peels are great!!! Excellent source of phosphorus and potassium. Just toss em around your plants, they break down quickly, or, cut them into small pieces and just push them inot the soil around your plants.
