Socket vaporizing weed?

    Ok so I use gravs a lot with a socket for a bowl. After a couple of gravs the socket tends to get very hot. I was told that if you pack a bowl into the socket while it is still hot it will vaporize some of the thc and you will not get as high. Does anyone know if this has any truth to it? It seems logical but I just wanted to see if anyone else has heard this

    if its hot enough to vape bud, it'll vape it. If that vapor is just going into the air, you won't get as high because some of the THC will be gone and in the air.
