Socialism V's Capitalism...

  1. There is not and NEVER has been a pure capitalist country in the world.

There have only been mixed economies.

  2. you're brainwashed, why do you go to school and get good grades? because you can help (insert best friends name) out because he cheated and got your sweetheart (insert girl friends name) and you hope they have a great life with there new child? you go to school to better yourself, not jimmy, not sarah, not mr. texas ranger. you act in your best interests, not others, therefore why should we all be held to the same incentives in life, why should i eat oatmeal everyday with joe the guy who did so much acid he can barely tie his shoes, when i can strive to provide great new inventions for a better lifestyle for me, myself, and the citizens.

  3. If I told you that you could have either car, which one would you choose?

As a practical matter everyone will always choose capitalism for themselves because it goes hand in hand with freedom. Capitalism means economic freedom and it brings with it prosperity and the freedom to consume. We all consume things and we enjoy the things that we consume.

Muscle cars were built because there was profit in it and many people earnestly desire to own one but the foreign car was not designed with any consumer in mind and as a result it completely sucks ass and does not compare in any category. Socialism and it's end result, Communism pretty much suck ass in the same way because the the one ultimately consuming the product is never even a factor.

Remember, in a communist system there is no such thing as customer satisfaction. ;)

  4. Dude; millions have starved under socialism and communism.

But seriously there is no reason for anyone to starve in the United States. There is food banks and homeless shelters in every city.

Pretty much any Church in America will give you money if you sincerely need it. Lots and lots of people help those who need it. I hear the stories all the time.

Sometimes communities even take donations for local victims or their families and it is a good thing that we live it a system that generates wealth so that they are able to help.

All kinds of Americans are giving it up for Hattie right now.

I doubt we could count all the foreign aid that our free capitalist society has provided the world.

Were the hell is everyone going to work if there are no private corporations?

Will everyone work for the government?

  5. And that is a good thing and the American people should be proud now..
They always dig into their pockets to help the less fortunate in times of disaster..

We have never seen true socialism..

As a religious man Max i am sure you believe you will go to heaven some day..
    Heaven is socialism..
    Live it now...
God wont care what assets or cash you have the day you die..
All he is worried about is how you live your life..;)

  6. This is socialism not communism Max..

  7. Why am i brainwashed ?

The system we have at the moment is not working..
I am merely suggesting an alternative...

  8. For materialistic people, who only care about there own well being, or have lived their lives at the top, or have lived a very fortunate life(check all that apply), yes capitalism is more appealing. For the people who don't care about consumerism and more about their neighbors starving to death, who have lived under the the outhouse of the people on top, socialism/communism is more appealing.

There's good and bad to both, and I accept all the good that can come from capitalism, but there's a lot of waste from capitalism that needs cleaned up first.

  9. Public school pushes you to believe if you are not a "professional" doctor, lawyer etc..., graduate, that you will never succeed..

    Life is for living...

  10. Hmmm....yeah there was, don't you remember the Kings and Queens of the European countries? History goes farther then 100 year you know..

  11. agreed!

  12. capitalism kicks ass

  13. yeah it kicks the ass of who ever stands in the way of there money.

  14. I agree completely, but would rather have choice than the peoples. I don't want religion forced upon me, an issued wage per hour, why do you think so many immigrants flee to America? so they can have little to no opportunity as their homeland socialist state?

I enjoy the choice to help who ever I can. Under a secular state, religion shouldn't be pushed on you. A minimum wage is set so that companies can't pay you for what they pay little Ethiopian children. Immigrants flee because socialism/communism has over stayed it's welcome. But Amerika is becoming such a xenophobic country that the "Land of the Free"...well it's not so free anymore. And once they are in, are they any better off starting out at the bottom? They have nothing to begin with, so they have to borrow money to get on their feet, and then it all goes down hill from there.

  17. yeah ,it's not like everyone that comes to America becomes rich..they usually come to America to get there hand on our dollars (though ways that not everyone would be so thrilled to do for the money they earn) to then send it back to there country where it's then converted into that country's currency and then they make a profit. Not a bad plan, but a risky one.

  18. You better check to see which party they are sending to congress. :smoking:

  19. socialism sucks, and the capitalistic society we have going right now aint too awesome either. i think some revisions are definetely due but im not about to claim that socialism is the answer. sorry

  20. Haha. Yeah, history goes back farther than 100 years. I'm aware of that.
I'm not sure you really know what capitalism is though if you're talking about kings and queens. There is not true capitalism in anytime there are kings and queens.
