picture update. not much has changed except they are getting TALL and still have like 2 weeks of growing to do, a bit worried about height in the tent and a little worried that the clones may out grow the Goo, well see though wont we?

trimmed the bottoms up a little bit more. you can see the clones are doing good. the leaves arent dry anymore, i think because i did put some veg nutes in there. you can see which ones are rooted and which arent, its like the whole right side and the bottom left corner didnt, looking at the picture and the way the light is they probably werent getting enough, need that t5 fixture to just sit over it.

tightened up the trellis cause i likes it tight, and some of them were leaning over on to each over and crowding out some others. i am liking the wing without the wires in it, it does seem to be reflecting better at least on one side. i am going to rig something up so the wings dont flap so much. was going to tonight but i forgot my wire.

oh and also set up the old dehumidifier which needs to be dumped like every 6 to 8 hours, and fuck it gets hot in there quick with that thing on, the temp went up 8F in like 10 mins but it went back down to 75F after i started venting the hot air by rigging up a box and some 6 inch ducting to run the hot air out of the tent. gonna have to stay on top of that till i get one with a continuous drain hookup. the old one works its just when it fills up it stops and then the humidity goes back up and the son of a bitch of it is that dehumidifiers are seasonal at most places and its winter, well fall but... anyways like i said before res change over the weekend probably saturday or sunday and ill get another picture update then.

  2. day 9
the blue dreams are stretching crazy not sure im going to be using this strain next cycle probably stick to the Goo, it stays nice and short and a good producer, plus the Goo will finish faster. the dreams are out growing the Goos i put in there and im a little worried that theyll be blocked by the time the dreams are done stretching. wired the wing so it doesnt flap and i like it a lot better than the wires that came with it and just hanging free. the baby clones are blowing up need to move them real soon. planning on putting them in dixie cups in dirt but if the roots are too big and they stay clumped up when i move them itll probably shock the shit out of them. did the res change and opened a new bottle of nutes and sweetener, the others were old and had mold growing in them. at least the sweetener did and when i opened the nutes there was a hiss, so im assuming there is something going on in there that i dont want to put in my res. the Goo mothers are doing real well ive been topping them a lot since theyve gotten big theyre real bushy as you can see.

the temps are staying at 75F with the dehumidifier on and the humidity is going down. i did have it on only when the lights were on but the humidity just went right back up so i have it only 24/7 till it gets down to 50 to 60%

great job BH, love the look of the cloner nice and full.
can you send the bad nutes back to the makers & tell them that you like their products but ect ect...... bla... bla... you never know they might send you some more goodies for free.
    middy

  4. Looking pretty good man. Too bad the dreams are dwarfing the goos. That's the big reason each of my strains will get flowered under separate lights, so they can be adjusted better to the plants height. Best of luck with them, hopefully the dreams slow down soon!

  5. thanks guys. yeah i hope the dreams slow down too and i figured something like this would happen but not to this extent, i knew the dreams would get tall but damn its only day 10. nah middy the nutes had been open for a while, that kind of old you know and i already had new unopened nutes ready to go, plus they were about gone so im not worried about it there wasnt much left. yeah hopefully after this pull down ill be able to set up the 3x3 in the tent and have two tables going about a month apart and switch strains and what not. about to go check on things.

  6. that will make it much easier for you having the extra table.
from what i have read many nute companys in the USA are sending out freebies all the time,
    middy

  7. so the other night after i left the pump in the veg table died. the mothers werent hurt that badly, it was caught early and i just turned the lights off while i got the new pump. the clones are still getting taller and you can see i only have a foot or so to raise the light before i have to figure something else out. probably cut the legs on the table and get a few more inches but if that doesnt work i guess im sol.

  8. I think theyve finally stopped stretching. the other day i saw the flowers starting and theyve grown a bit more but nothing like they have been so i think im in the clear about having to do anything drastic about the height available. i trimmed the lower halves and removed 3 of the dreams. they were just too small and were buried a waste of nutes to keep them going. finally got a dehumidifier with a continuous drain. homeowner was trying to help out and empty the old one and screwed up the main zipper. i got it fixed though but i knew something like this would happen and i didnt like having to empty it in the middle of their dark cycle, i doubt he was taking as much care as i was to keep the light out. jimmy rigged some ducting with bungee cords to vent the heat and its working and used the styrofoam base the dehumidifier came in so it wouldnt roll around and fall into the water like the last one did. the goos arent doing too bad but they are blocked mostly from direct light, oh well we live and learn.

been thinking though about future plans and what would be best. ive been thinking i can get a large AAW with 2 600w sockets and use that over the 3x6 and use the 1000w over the 3x3. the 2 lights sources over the 3x6 would probably help out a lot, less shadows, more light and more efficient use of power, but another ballast more money and another bulb more heat, but hell just hook up a mover with the 1000w. thinking ill just do indicas in the 3x6 maybe SCROG the sativa in the 3x3. 1000w just make the buds denser though. i still have a while to figure it out.

  9. hopefully the smoke will be good but other than that considering the wait and stretch, screw sativas. i like em short, heavy and fast. maybe once i have the 1000w up and running ill give it another go. ill see in another 2 months.

  10. so they have slowed down a lot but theyre still growing slowly but surely. a few leaves have been messed up because theyre too close but only a few. i took the light hangars off and just zipped tied the light to the tent poles, that got me another 3 inches. will most likely have to shorten the table, actually already making plans to do that sometime this week. i had wanted to do that from the beginning but i had no idea these would stretch so much its insane and i bet theyre not done stretching yet either. but with shortening the legs ill get about another 6 inches and that should do it. if not im fucked. have to cut my losses by taking out ones too close which will probably be only 3 or 4. but everything else is doing great. humidity is sitting at 61%, i turned the dehumidifier up a notch, trying to get it down around 50% but ill be happy at 55% hell 60% is a shit ton better than 99%. the temp all closed up sits around 75F, it actually gets a little bit warmer at night with the inline fan off and the dehumidifier still going but its still within 10F so im very pleased with that.

i have also figured out how im going to do the two tables. im going to need another 3x3 and a 2x4. the 2x4 will be the table to veg the clones in before they go in the tent and the 3x3 will hold the mothers, and the t5 fixture i have will fit perfectly over the 2x4 and with all the same type of plants in there itll work out pretty good, heres hoping. now in the tent in the 3x6 ill probably have no more than 32 no less than 18 FIMd and topped multi branch plants, probably just 18 so they each get a square foot and this will have to vegged a while since topping and FIMing them slows them down a bit and in the 3x3 ill do a SOG. im doing it this way because on paper with the 5" net pots i have itll work perfectly (on paper) to veg them in the 2x4, and since once i have a clone thats rooted i just place it in one of these net pots and fill it with hydroton and stick it in a table. this seems the easiest way without getting a whole 'nother mess of smaller net pots to veg them in then trying to transplant them into the bigger netpots, and also since i dont want to use rockwool this is the way i think will work the best easiest and quickest. of course this will all take time and $$$ and with the cycles and having to cut so many clones its going to take a while to figure out. its nice to have some semblance of a plan.

strain wise whats some your guys' favorite indica dominant strains? im going to stick with indicas after this cycle and im not going to be getting anything new for a while, i want to master the afghan goo first before moving on, plus i like the goo its easy to grow and real nice smoke. i just did a quick look and i was reminded of a few that i was really interested in, the blue cheese LSD and pineapple chunk. plus middy when i was looking into buying some seeds the kalishnakova was the right price and it seemed a real nice producer.

and middy i was reading some of your posts and when the pump in my veg table died the mother roots were all nice a white but now theyre brown and nasty looking, that root rot? if so that blows

  12. have you thought of supercropping a couple of the tops instead of taking out a few? Also as far as indicas, maybe a kush strain or an indica dominant hybrid?

  13. how does it smell ? i have never had RR so i don´t know what it smells of but people on here say you know when you have it by the smell.
are the roots coated in slime or do they break easy ?
better get cloning if it´s RR

i like/love the way the K´s are growing at the moment, great for a sog or scrog, soooooo bendy , another plus if you scrog them.

    middy

  14. supercroping, no but that is a thought ill see what they look like today and maybe start training them. and i dont think the roots smell theyre just dark and nasty looking ill see if they have slime on them tonight too. and strains yeah just something other than a sativa dominant so i wont have to worry about the height. i already have flowers starting and i was wanting colas but training them would be better than chopping them.

  15. day 19
awesome! room temp 72F RH 44% slowed down dehumidifier to get back up into the 50's. not going to shorten the table just did a little bit of bending as you can see. one of the top flowers was burnt so i chopped the fucked part off. about 3 had some messed up leaves and i bent a few extra down so the others behind them could get better lighting. did a little bit of trimming on the goos and 1 or 2 of the dreams and raised the netting. not exactly happy to have to be bending these i wanted coals, big dick colas but i would rather not have to balance the table on shit and do all that work and with my luck ild probably end up cracking the flood table or something utterly stupid. ill be going for those fat fucking colas when i get the 2nd 3x3 in the tent and do a sog with the goo. i am curious to how these buds will turn out since ive bent them, ive never done any training this late in flower i think.

PH in the big res is at 6.3 the veg one was at 6.5 so i added a little bit of down to that one. still need to get some batteries, i hope its just batteries, for my EC meter. but the soup i mixed was 40 gals water, 200ml of floranova bloom nutes and 400ml of sweetener. so not the strongest but everything is healthy and looking good.

the roots on the goo mothers dont smell and they dont break easily, and they arent especially slimy, plus they are still booming, so i dont think i have root rot, but as you can see in the pic they are not pretty anymore. they used to be so white and healthy looking, not pretty but doable.

    enjoy the pornography

  17. They're soo purty. For only 22 days that's great growth

  18. looking very nice Boss,

    middy

  19. thank you, i think keeping the nutes reasonably low and the sweetener helps a lot. ive never used the sweetener the whole time on the other grows and i was surprised to see the flowers coming so soon, before they didnt start until around the 3rd week. plus i learned a bunch over the past year of growing, the res is stable and perfect, the temp and humidity is perfect. with the ducting and the inline fan streamlined, before in the last grows i had sharp turns in duct, and the fresh air inlet, i think thats all more efficient. only thing that could be improved i think is more light. im thinking next week ill cut clones from the goos, get a 2x4 table and start getting those ready. so i cut clones next weekend, theyll take about two weeks to root, and heyo just looked up some info and high times says blue dream only takes 8 to 9 weeks to finish, so they should be done about december 10th, eww i was hoping to veg the goo clones like a month or so, going have to cut them sooner than next weekend and even then, damn im going to have to cut them fucking tonight to even get about 3 weeks of veg in, if rooting takes 2 weeks, which it most likely will. guess i better get to it

  20. cut clones tonight and only filled up half my cloner. hopefully theyll have at least 3 weeks to veg so i can FIM and top them and have some nice little bushes. used up 3 of the goos, well really only 2 and only took a few off the third but i chopped it up to so i could spread out the other 2 goos and move the dreams around so the veg table wasnt so crowded, probably should have just taken as many as i could but.... i didnt. im still not sure if im going to flower all of them yet, it will depend on how big they get during veg, but thinking about it now i probably will flower them all because i wont be able to top them as much as i would like, probably. ill just have to see. also if i am going to set up a second table im going to need lots of clones and more than just two mothers.

i trashed all those blue dream clones that you see. i know i know what a waste but hell i just dont have the lighting or space for them right now and plus i dont really want to mess with the dream for a while. not till i have a second table in the tent and set up a screen. i did have some trees growing in the cloner though, some of the stalks were so big im not going to be able to re use some of the neoprene plugs.

everything is still looking good. though on one of the blue dreams in the tent i noticed that some of the stigmas looked singed and whats weird is is that its no where near the light. its actually one of the smaller plants and its on each of the forming buds. i dont know but thought that was kind of weird. humidity was sitting at 52 or 54% and temp was at 72F ph in the 40 gal after topping it of was at 6.3, i put too much down in the veg res and that ph was a little low 5.6 but it works and itll go back up. though plan to do a res change next weekend, i was thinking about doing it this weekend but i was a bit busy, maybe i will sometime this week but im going to be busy im moving and thats another thing. the new place im not going to have internet for a while so my updates may not be so often.
