my 4/5 week old plant has a dank, earthy smell whereas my 8 week old plant does not have that immdiate scent - if you rub its stalk it has a citrus, light smell. The older plant DOES look like a female however. Do these differences mean that the younger plant is more likely to be female? or does the smell not prove sex. thanks.
Don't go by smell, look for preflowers. They should both be showing by now; especially the 8 week old one.
