I can see temperature and humidity and control my fan no matter where I am. For example I have it turned off but still registers temp and humidity and im sitting in the living room looking at the settings but the fans is extremely powerful and quiet. I am going to like using it. The temp probe is on my floor in the bedroom/grow area. I never used a dehumidifier in the past but im going to purchase 1 before flower in a couple months. With that ac that dehumidifer wont need to turn on the ac will take care of the humidity . Only if the ac is running . Is this a tent or big room ? I have some tips how to put the dehumidifer . They make a lot of heat.

Depends on what model how it works . When i had a unit in a 8/8 tent larger unit . Hot air like a mofo would come out . I put the unit in the tent and had the hot air blowing outside the tent. Suck the humid air up spitting the now dry air outside . The unit will work half as good doing so but it worked. So i had a diy tent i cut it put in through the wall . Your situation i would only use a small ac in the main room keep it under 80f close the door window ac unit perfect . Get a fan suck the air from the tent to the the room keep sucking it out and pulling it back into the tent . This would keep the humidity under control usually . Get a carbon to stop smells . No dehumidifier needed . If it get humid then turn the ac down a bit perfect . Ac will be a much better choice in your situation. What size is the bedroom ? And do you know what kilowatt your paying ? If your in the sates there will be a kilo watt mapp. I am asking for the reason its better to have more constant ac running then having more on and offs . In the long run its cheaper to use a smaller ac unit always running then a larger going on and off . 10/10 bedroom with under 1000 watts a 5000 btu window unit .suggested A bigger bed room then bigger ac.
Bedroom is like 11x 13. 8000 btu. Powerful enough it cuts off and on but I usually still run it pretty constant. I have fan and carbon filter. I normally do like you said with exchange air. But with all that said the humidity is around 64 percent my carbon filter isn't hooked up yet but I don't see how that will drop humidity although you may be right as its been a couple years since I grew anything and in flower seems like it was closer to 40 percent.
