I took clones off a c99 plant. I took them off the bottom branches. They were small and barely survived, but they did...two of them. The new mother and clones from the mother have a much much more spindly, weak structure. If I had take clones from bigger, stronger plants, would they then appear more similar to the original?
From my experience smaller clones from lower on the plant tend to root faster, maybe in 7-10 days on average compared to 10-13 with clones taken form larger tops closer to the top of the plant. But... the clones that did root from top branches were generally much more developed and were much larger and healthier plants at day 30 of veg.
