i have been trying to find a way to fill my res for this years guerilla grow and today i found a 12volt battery used for deer feeders. they ar smaller and lighter than other 12 volt b so it would be easier to carry and only 20 bucks. i just wanna know if they will work for a bilge pump. i want to use a solar 12vol battery charger/ hook it up to the battery and hook the battery to the pump. does anyone know if it will work with this kind of battery(it does say 12 volts)? this is a link to one like it http://www.walmart.com/ip/Spypoint-12V-7.0-AH-Rechargeable-Battery-with-AC-Charger/17687575 i appriciate any help/advice you guys can give me.
I had a basement that flooded and a truck battery would run a bilge pump about six hours before slowing down. Hope that helps
