my plants have been growing for about a week and my buddy broke my fluro light setup. my question is, can i put the plants under soft white for 2 to 3 days before i can get new fluros, and will the plants still be okay?
yep, just go out and get the 26 equiv to 100 watt DAYLIGHT cfl's from walmart. they are 6.89 for a two pack. keep the light two inches from the plant.
i think i answered you wrong? soft white works with cfls, not incand bulbs. but 2 or 3 day shouldn't effect a one week old plant anyways
i would say try to match the light output of your original setup or at least get as close as you can. if it's only going to be a couple of days, she might wither a little but she'll come back
you can veg at 18 hours on 6 hours off, or 24/0 (it doesnt matter) when you go to flower them just go to 12/12
