Sick Flowering Plant

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Midgitkilla, Jun 10, 2013.

  1. Three weeks into flowering. Grown in soil under two CFL's. Used Bloom Booster about a week ago. The PH is fine. Upper leaves are drying up, curling and turning greyish. Please help!

  2. Boom Booster...Huh!, Flush with 3 times the volume of the pot with air temp. Ph neutral water, allow to recover in dim light, 1 day then no food for 2 weeks or until you see a gradual improvement, and even then at 50% less nute. keep a temp/humidity gauge in there, I suspect your temps ain't right

I'm a noob so I need better a explanation. When you say flush you mean keep giving it water and let it run out the bottom right? Should I let it stay in total darkness for 24 hours? I can't give it dim light, either full light or no light at all. Bloom Booster no good? So is this phosphate burn?

  4. nitrogen claw, overdid the nutes

yes, flushing with water helps wash the crap out of the soil

  5. Okay I flushed out all three plants three times. Will the leaves recover or should I remove them? Anything else I should do?

  6. Leave the leaves on so you can see if it is working, when they start to go a shade greener then you are on the way to repair, is a slow process, you will wish you put 2 more cfl's in make them 2700 kelvin or warm white, make those buds fat and stinky ...lol

    Oops new here

  11. Hope the flushing helped ur issue. For future grows never go by what the bottles say. Find the right point of nutrient to water ratio in veg and u won't have issues in ur bloom stage. Fixing problems during flowering will always have a direct effect on ur harvest. First grow on any strain when ur a experience grower or not is always going to be the slowest due to the learning curve of the strain. Example some strains love mg all day and other strain burn from the same amount of mg givin. Every plant is different. Last thing ur leaves shouldn't be that dark green unless u know the strain traits are supposed to be that dark.. Should be a green not light or dark just green hope this helped good luck
