  1. Anyone active on the NV green scene? Wondering what the chances are of the recreational ballot passing in NV.

  2. I have a friend that works for the state of Nevada. She said her agency is working under the assumption it will pass and planning their budget accordingly.

  3. I hope that it passes there too, a victory there is second of importance only to California and it's mainly because of Las Vegas since people from all over the country and even different parts of the world travel there every year for vacations. It would further push cannabis into the mainstream and weaken the federal prohibition even further if adults 21+ could legally buy, possess, and consume there.

Unfortunately the only roadblock which could be a big one is opposition funding from billionaire casino owner Sheldon Adelson, who is a staunch opponent to cannabis reform of any kind and donated 5.5 million dollars to almost single handedly defeat Florida's MMJ initiative back in 2014. He has already purchased Nevada's largest newspaper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal and forced them to reverse their pro legalization stance that they have held for years, long before Colorado and Washington ever legalized. He will be donating millions to Nevada's opposition campaign without a doubt, especially since that's his home state. I just hope that public opinion really has changed enough to where Nevada voters will not be swayed by his opposition campaign, the cannabis reform movement really needs a victory in Nevada this November.

  4. Yup, currently in Henderson. Anthem actually but who's counting. I'm up on the side of black mountain towards the back. I loved it here out of all of the different places I've lived in Nevada. But it is just to fucking hot here for me. We are outta here in 9 days. Hawaii here we come!

Speaking of that, I got a bunch of stuff that's not going with me. I'll need to make a thread and give it all away lol!

  5. DON'T FORGET TO VOTE NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE! :yay:
If you are not registered, then you can't vote for legalization! :frown:

You might even consider throwing a "political party". Grab some buds, brews and a few munchies, get a bunch of voter registration cards from the post office, and invite everyone over to have a little fun, or to watch the big game/race! :passtheshit:

Light one up and start discussing the vote on cannabis this November. :GettingStoned: Ask if everyone is registered to vote and hand out the registration cards as needed! :poke:
