Hey i have 4 plants in 5 gallon smart pots and one is about 7 weeks old and the other three only about 2-3 weeks. i plan to flower in about 3 weeks. Is my large one going to become rootbound? i do have a 12 gallon tote i could plant it in.
How big do you want them to get. I have had 6 footers, bushy as hell, in a 5 gal pot. If you feed them a good nutrient blend they will do fine. I flip mine to flowering at 12" to 16" height. Indoors, 5 gal is a large pot, I go with 3 gal size. Greenfrog
You're in smattpots, and you're worried about rootbinding? umm you may want to learn why those are preferred.....
