just curious, maybe only do it when the plants are very small? what about when they're like 4-5 ft tall? they're in 3 gallon pots if that means anything to you....
Not sure if you're growing outside or inside. If you're growing outside then, yes. If inside, why bother to drag your plants outside for your neighbors to see when you can just water them in the privacy of your own home. Is there something special about rainwater that you want to water them with it? Just collect rainwater then. GL!
Yes leave them outside, but if budding I would shake the plant ever so gently to get the water off the folliage
no, root rot comes from the roots sitting in water, not the part above the surface. When budding you shake the water from the buds to prevent bud rot.
