Fresh air is always good, and it's even better when you aren't stinking up the house doing it. I say go for it, but that's based on only a little info.
Nah, I suppose not. -If the fan can exchange all the air in your room in around 5 minutes, it's good volume (cfm) wise. -Getting rid of the smell is always good IMO so there's that. I have a legal grow and still run a filter, no point advertising. -And finally you will need fresh air coming in regularly if you aren't injecting the air with CO2. Go for it, I say, assuming the reviews are good. Watch out for comments on the fan quality. Lots of cheap (as in poorly made) shit out there
