Hi a friend and i were talking about using shade cloth like 90% density. Has anyone had any experience with using it? What would be the best color. Thanks Fellow farmers
I use it as shade on my back patio. It block 75% of light and help keep things cooler. Are you planning on using it as a fence or shade. I wouldn't put it over or close to the plants as it's going to block too much light.
If you're looking for something to take the edge off of those july/august scorchers 15-30% shade cloth is what you're looking for....I use 30% and pull it when things get over 95. Which for me isn't often or for long but it does get there so I have it. And yes it helps imo maintain a lot of quality to filter it like that when you're knocking on triple digit temps.....
