I am a noob wen its comes to growing. My question is how many seeds/plants do you need per pound of growth?
One if you are really good. 100 if you have a black thumb. It depends on the grow, the grower... too many variables.
This. If you are a great grower, you can probably get 1lb off a seed. But if you're a lousy grower like me, you'll probably only get 1 ounce max. Timing, location, amount of room, nutrients, training, etc. go into how much yield you will get.
Thanks guys. I'm def tryna be around that 1 seed area.. I want to be really good at this, any suggestions?
One day you might get a pound per plant, but don't expect that without many grow cycles of experience and mistakes. You have to be more than good to get a pound per plant, that almost certainly requires an outdoor grow with excellent conditions throughout. You shouldn't necessarily think in terms of yield per plant but rather yield per square foot. For example, there are growing techniques for getting one plant very large with lots of tops and other techniques that utilize many small plants with little secondary growth, both can get you to the same place.
