ive placed them under my mh and i have no idea if everythings going ok.....one of the seeds has the root coming upward...is that a problem? this is my first grow so im still nervous cause i dont know what to expect. thanks in advance.
Well, if you just planted the seed, you could dig it up and flip it around, but that will likely do more harm than good. The root, as long as it's not popping out of the soil, will turn itself around; that's what it's designed to do. If it is popping out, then you need to get more soil over it quickly. Roots don't like light. Keep the sedlings under 24/7 light, 8 or 10" for a 250W, 16" away for 400W, 24" for 600W, 40" for an 1000W are the optimal distances. They'll pop out in a few days to a week. Keep the soil moist, not soaked, and you'll be fine.
