1. Now. 2. 0.5-1 inch. 3. Down. 4. Keep it moist (not sopping wet) until the sprout pops through the soil. 5. Not now. Start at 1/4 strength about 2 weeks after it pops through the soil. This info is readily available by reading the grow guides and by searching on " germination" and such. Check the sticky posts and links in my sig, you have a lot of reading to do.
