i left a seed in water for a long time, like over a week, and it still sinks to the bottom of the container but the seed hasnt cracked open yet...should i just ditch the seed and get another?
No dog dont worry about it cause when i left my seed over night it did not crack but it grew when i put in dirt.
Chances are, if it's fallen to the bottom, it will eventually grow a taproot. That is, eventually. I will not personally keep any seed that hasn't shown a taproot in a week's time of germination. If it even sprouts, the plant will be behind the others in vegging and therefore complicating things. ~Lycanthropy
