I see a lot of people on here have grow journal packed full of beautiful beautiful bud porn. But what are the chances of someone lurking on the net being able to track that back to them? I know that GC is UK based therefor their records are secure from LEO's in the US, but can they "watch" somehow anyway? If so, what can be done to prevent intrusion and a bust if you post up pics?

btw. all I currently use is a norton firewall.

  2. IMHO, not worth the effort.

  3. It's pretty much impossible. Believe me.

  4. Are you afraid your Probation Officer is gonna get you?

  5. Is it really worth it? I mean the patriot act fucked us so it really doesnt matter.

  6. Lots of us here do NOT live in the land of the not so free.

  7. ant you lucky in Spain cant you just have buds growing in pots on your porch?

  8. You are allowed to grow for your own use, but no actual allowed amount is defined by law, so it is best to be discreet. And there are rippers about !!
Grow in your garden, or more commonly, on your roof, keep your grow discreetly out of sight, and you will be left alone.

  9. What the hell?

    The US sucks... :(

  10. If you're worried about access to the site being somehow reported use a prxy server everytime you log in. That way it will show different IP address from a different country should someone access GC's servers (very unlikely)

  11. man that would be golden here.:hello:

  12. Yes, the Spanish have the philosophy that what you do in the privacy of your own home is up to you.
    Very civilised, I must say.

  13. Posting pics of illegal substances is not alone enough basis for a search warrant. Who knows where those pics really came from? Anything I post I just downloaded from somewhere else on the internet, honest. Actually, I am an 89 year old grandmother who knits doilies and has never seen or smoked MJ in my life.

  14. actually its not that hard to follow address's wheither its a IP or DNS or whatever tha case may be, but its better to be very discreet and not to post pics. escpecially if ur a u.s. citizen.

  15. You'll get taken down by dealing, telling friends, having pics on your cell phone, neighbors or visits to a hydro store looooooooooooooooooooong before they nail ya with stuff you posted on the web.

Remember man: The US government/DEA/etc are probably all still running fuck'n Windows for Workgroups on Pentium 2's.... Just look at your DMV, post office, etc...

  16. Please don't spread misinformation.

  17. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's reasonable to believe that most law enforcement agencies have limited resources, and these limits force them to focus on people growing on a much grander scale than what I imagine most people here are on. In other words a small homegrow situation kept quiet and done without any dealing or brazen exposure will be left alone.

Busting a kid growing a few plants just makes them look foolish, but no one should provoke them to make an example out of you either.

  18. well I wouldnt say its misinformation cause its not hard to locate a persons IP address really, there are many programs that allow one to do this. But like others have said I dont think a pic on the web is whats going to get someone busted...it will be a snitch or the person talking about the grow. If your that worried about posting on the web there are programs that allow you to jump IP addresses that are mostly maintained outside the US arm of the law. I started to use a program similar to these when I saw someone on a forum threaten others to contact police and give them your IP. Not saying that would have got those people busted, but it made me think...theres prob alot of asses out there like that.

Either way stay safe and keep growin

  19. the DEA still use Win 95...my Systems Analysis and Design prof works for em lol

  20. Yes they can track you down. But they won't. Using resources like that to bust some small time grower or pothead is definitely the least of their worries and NOT what those resources are there for.
