    SCROG
    "Screen of Green"
    What is it?
    What is its purpose?
    Worth installing on small-scale ops?
    When to install?
    How high above the plants?
    Difference between "SOG"?
What are the pro's and con's?

    Also, what are yo-yo's?

  2. Scrog would actually be in your best interests with stealth or micro grows.you can benifit more from each plant. Scroggins is where you use a net or any other type of screen,it tyes the plant down, you run the branching through the screen creating more tops, leaving minimal space in the grow room therfore utilizing the most of your grow space.s.o.g..or sea of green is basically the same method only without the screen by plant training.and yo yos are used to train the plant, tye down or usually the yo yos are to hold up over weighted budz.if you are using the scrog method you have better chances of not needing a yo yo..
Best to start Scroggins the first couple weeks of flower and can be done before or after. But the longer you wait the better chances of broken branchs..

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I'm interested in scrogging for sure.

  4. how high will plants grow using the scrog technique

  5. It's up to you. A minimum of about 12-18" above the pot

  6. Yeah.. the benefits from scrogging let you determine the height, now widths can get pretty extreme. Leave lots of elbow room!

  7.
How can you determine if a plant is good for training?

  8. Well..I am sure there is multiple ways one can deem a strain fit for Scrogging.. could be strain reasons or grow room reasons like space and height..far as strain?. Say a strain that likes to grow to tall, you scrog it and there ya go..one could debate how each strain can benefit from Scrogging. Basically..it is up to how the grower likes to grow the strain. Whatever works best for end result
