Rubbermaid Airflow Design

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by HighMountainSkier, Oct 14, 2009.

  1. Hey GC,

I'm working on my 2nd Rubbermaid Growbox tonight and I decided to play around with the passive air intakes and I figured we all could have a little fun with it.

I had really wanted to use 4" intake pipes, but they just took up way to much space inside. Since I'm holding good temps in box #1, I stuck with the 3" intake.

The question is: Which design do you like better?

Option #1 - "The Classic" - Clean lines and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Option #2 - "The Space Saver" - Gives more room in the box for the actual growing.

    Here's the pics

So what did you pick and why?

  2. Hey Mtn im no expert but IMHO id pick Option #2 because i would be putting 2 plants inside my rubbermaid so i would need space, Although if your only growing one plant Option #1 seems like the better way to go.
