Okay I recently found my Linky's WRT45G Router. I had it working with this PC before i lost it. I have Verizon HighSpeed intenet with a westell 6100 Modem. any help?
There is a patch cable going from the back of the Westell modem into the back of your PC (looks like a phone cable on steroids). Take one end out of your computer and plug it into the 'Internet' port on the router. Now get another patch cable and plug one end into the back of the computer (where the other cable was a moment ago). Plug the other end into any of the numbered ports on the back of the router. Ensure that the router and modem have power, then see if you have Internet access. Depending on your setup it sometimes is as easy as that, but there may be more to it depending on your ISP and your router configuration.
