Rosin Pressing

    If I'm in the wrong thread-group, sorry I couldnt find one related to extracting.

    So I bought the High Five 3-Ton Hydraulic Rosin Press. It just came in today.

    After unboxing it I attached the handle and was messing around with it. I made the plates touch and I dont know how to release them. I've tried everything from pressing the handle up. Pressing the silver button just increases temperature or something idk.

    The manual they gave me was very vague.. can someone help?

    I looked for tutorials online and couldnt find anything.

    I don't know but it looks like it's just a small hydraulic jack with plates. The round knob would be the pump and the other odd shaped knob on the right lower side would be the release and should turn counter clockwise to open. You may need to gently pry them apart but be sure the valve is open

    The knob on the lower right is reallllly tight doesnt seem like i can move it. was like that when I unboxed it originally too.

    Nevermind I got it!!! The knob was supper tight had to jam it with a wrench

    Now what is the purpose of the silver button? It seems to increase temp. So I assume I press it down to get to desired temp then press down?

    Unless there are other controls somewhere you must be right. When you close the valve do it gently, it closes easily

    Let me know how it works out once you get to press a few times. Also how much does that press at a time, a g? an eighth?
