Into week 3 of flowering on my first hydro grow. Things seem to be going well up top despite the mistakes I have made. The plant exploded to 5 feet tall though, which was not what I was expecting. My problem is, the root mass is now taking up almost 3/4 of the 4 gallon BB. Is it possible for a plant in a BB to get root bound?
How long did you veg her for? Plants generally double to triple in size from there veg size so next time take that into consideration. Yes they can get toothlike but it will just stop your plant from growing vertically most likely, which it sounds like you need.
Honestly the plant was only 14 inches tall when I switched 12/12. It was bagseed, so no way to tell why this particular strain would do that. Not only is it tall, but the cross section diameter of the thing is almost 4 feet. Live and learn. Hopefully get some nice bud in the process.
