Roadside Poem

  1. Something I wrote earlier this year while me and couple of buddies were on our way to the city to check out some new parts for his car.
***If you absolutely hate it, or think it's garbage, no need to make a big deal about it lol. I'm not claiming i'm William Blake, and not aspiring to be, just something I wrote, that I liked enough to share with others.***

    Mud, Asphalt, Dewy Grass
    Cigarette butts, Raindrops, Broken glass

    A Highway Spans
    Through An Ancient Valley

    And Senseless Fans
    Head on to the Rally

A Man, Alone, in the Busy Street
Visions of Ginsberg, Kerouac, and Beat

    Dance in his Head,
    Clouded up by Desire

    Won't Somebody Light
    This Poor Young Man's Fire

    Nature and Man,
    Associates of Earth

    Associates, not Partners,
    Because Man Fuels the Hearth

Yeh, So I guess that's it, a 5 minute poem that I wrote on a bank envelope, and stuck in my pocket haha.
