Has anyone used river rock as a grow medium for a hyrdo set up. It seems it would work opposed to hydroton which is $33 river rock is $5 a bag. Any thoughts on this. or maybe filling net pots with hydroton and filling in the rest with river rock. Any and all advice as always appriciated.
