Resin In A Vape Pen?

    Now I haven't thought of this in a while, but I knew this dude my senior year of high school who had a vape pen. Like a e-cig with the juice and coils and charger and all that bullshit. And I saw in the juice there were little pieces of black shit. I asked him what it was and he said it was resin.
    Lol at the time I thought this was extremely weird so I didn't even give him a response.
    But I wanna know if this is actually a thing... Lol
