I'm cleaning out my room and noticed that I had slime on all my rubber/plastic parts.. Suction cups ect. I thought it looked a little different prior so I cleaned it out and a week later right back on the rubber/plastic. My res temp ranges from 66*-69* ppm around 20-40(RO water is 20-40 going in) Ph 5.8-6.1 I had very little to no signs of stress on the plant but it's gross.. On a side note.. I'm using a current culture UC4 in a 5x5 gorilla tent. I'm going to put the epicenter outside so I have to cut a whole in the tent.. The tent will be against 2 walls so I will not be able to access those.. My question is what side would you cut a hole in and where would you place it? My grow room is 13x9 rectangle. I have a work bench and the tent in the room only. Thanks
I put a teaspoon per gallon of food grade h202 diluted to 3% in with each res change and it stopped for me. I had the same thing happen. I'm sure there's other ways but it's cheap and it doesn't seem to be hurting the plants. mine got really nasty before i started using it. Also started keeping my res under 69 i was letting it get to 72.
My pipes and tubes usually get a thin film of slime on them. They are cleaned off between grows but not during. I rarely change out my reservoirs and never had problems from it
