I have plants that have been through 4 grow cycles and reward me with some very nice material. I trim off all the buds, then further trim a little making sure to leave leaves on every branch I want to continue to grow. Afterwards - I keep them out of direct light for 2-3 days then move them to a Veggy area. The branches don't grow that much but leaves tend to sprout from the trunk of the plant. Then grow it in veggy mode for 4-6 weeks then into flower mode. I have been getting very nice 4-6 inch buds yielding about 2 oz per plant. I find it a reliable and lazy way to maintain my inventory. Also trimming them is fun insomuch as you would trim a bonsi plant.
