  4. This country was built on hemp cash crops. Our forefathers once again knew more about the world than the idiots in politics do now.
     

  5. i think you're missing the point. hemp would be an incredibly cheap alternative to gasoline and diesel. and since we're talking biofuels, it wouldn't cut into our food supply the same way that mass producing ethanol does.

    another important factor would be that not all plant matter can be reliably produced year round, especially not in cooler regions. but hemp can be grown in nearly any climate, and it grows incredibly fast, able to be harvested in as little as 4 months.

    and lastly, when you would be growing fields of hemp to produce that biofuel, there would be no need to use mass quantities of pesticides as hemp is quite resilient.

    anyway not trying to start anything with you, but if some idiotic 'scientists' that actually ignore the science behind it try and 'help' with hemp like they did with corn and so many other crops...
